Meet Meg Rowlett

OF PARK ATLANTA HOMES.

Meg Rowlett

I am the ADU specialist for Park Atlanta Homes!

We reached out to Meg to ask if she would be a part of our ShoutHaus M.V.P. Page and her response was an overwhelming “I would LOVE to be a part of this!” So we asked her a couple of questions:

What motivated you to start your own business venture?

I actually joined the Park Atlanta Homes building team because of the support of 30 years of loyal subcontractor relationships and the reduced liability of being with a larger builder.

  1. Could you share a piece of a widely accepted advice that you hold a different perspective on?

'If you love what you do you'll never work a day in your life'. I disagree, I think you will work everyday of your life but it will be worth it because it fills your cup and makes a difference  in your life as well as in other people's lives.

  1. When it comes to risk, how do you assess it, and what role has embracing risks played in your life and career?

I live by the saying ask for forgiveness not for permission because I believe action is more important and perfection. I love taking risks that go against the grain because I think you can figure anything out at the end of the day.

  1. Are there particular routines or practices that you believe contributed significantly to your achievements?

My time blocking and appointment setting is the reason for my constant growth.

  1. How has your work/life balance evolved over the years, and what principles guide your approach to maintaining that balance?

I used to travel a lot for work and now I don't answer my phone after 5pm. My kids and my hubby drive my balance. I like to be home when they get off the bus.

  1. What serves as a source of inspiration for you?

My kids. I want them to know that mommy builds houses and if I can make a house out of nothing , they can make anything as well.
